According to the details provided by Director State Bank Muhammad Akhtar Javed, the non-resident Pakistanis will have to send the following documents for verification of bank account.
1. Confirmation of the user's non-resident Pakistanis with an effective passport, visa, residence permit or other certified document
2. A copy of the ID card or the barbershop
3. The relevant bank account number
4. Certificate to inform the bank in case of change of residential status by the user
The proposed bank will confirm through NADRA keeping in view the information provided.
All persons who are not Pakistanis abroad but who are temporarily living outside the country must provide acceptable proof of not being in the country. After the information is provided, the concerned bank will complete the verification process through NADRA system which will be an alternative to biometric verification.
It is worth mentioning here that this alternative verification process will only be applicable as long as the user is out of the country, in case of return, the user will have to get biometric verification immediately.news world ahmed
