Prominent lawyer Kashif Malik told The News that the order has clear permission that Nawaz Sharif's health may be extended to his foreign residence.
He explained that the former prime minister has been allowed only one trip abroad which is under interim arrangement. However, the original petition filed by Shahbaz Sharif has been accepted.
Nawaz Sharif's return order clearly states that he will return when doctors confirm that he is healthy and able to return to Pakistan.news world ahmed
The affidavit submitted by Shahbaz Sharif to the Lahore High Court has similar words that I take responsibility for the return of my brother Nawaz Sharif in four weeks or when the doctors confirm that he has recovered. And if they are able to return home, they will return to Pakistan.
Kashif Malik said that the injunction should have imprisonment for return and not even this. Everyone knows that Nawaz Sharif did not reside abroad in the past. Where he left his sick wife at the hospital and returned.
However, before the expiry of the initial four weeks, Nawaz Sharif has to approach the court for extension of his stay abroad and the Lahore High Court has to be satisfied.
Similarly, Nawaz Sharif will also have to contact the Punjab government and extend the eight-week bail granted by the Islamabad High Court.
